Worship

Come as you are to worship.

Our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 a.m. with our acolyte tolling the bell in the tower.  We welcome the whole family to our service.  We strive to include a blend of different music but we are more on the traditional side with our newly refurbished organ and gifted musicians.  Our choir is amazing and always looking for new voices.  The young, and young at heart are invited forward for family time at the beginning of service and welcome to remain or you can take advantage of our nursery if need be.

Study & Fellowship

Growing in faith & community.

Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 we have Sunday School for all ages.  From our little tykes in Preschool to our Seekers class of adults.  There is something for everyone.  Our youth also gather on Sunday mornings for a time of fellowship and study.

We have many activities and opportunities for fellowship throughout the year like our Harvest Festival, Christmas Festival, church wide picnics and pancake breakfasts just to name a few!

Mission & Outreach

Loving our neighbor.

At Calvary UMC Gamber we believe that church happens most when we get outside the walls of our church.  We are a mission driven community that desires to take the love Christ has given us and share that with those who need love the most.  From the mountains of Frostburg, Maryland where our youth and adults spend a week each summer repairing homes to the care packages that travel the world for our troops we are passionate about serving and truly being the hands and feet of Christ in the world.

Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can."

John Wesley
